I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Daffron Elementary. It is a privilege to be entrusted with this role, and I am truly excited to get to know the Daffron family. My goal is to continue the outstanding work already happening on our campus and to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every child. By working together, I know we can help all students experience success and develop a genuine love of learning. 

Lifelong learning is one of my core values. I hold a Master of Education in Education Administration from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University in Austin. This year marks my eighteenth year in education. I began my career in Plano ISD as a fourth‑grade teacher at Mendenhall Elementary, served as Assistant Principal at Bethany Elementary for five years, and for the past four years, I have had the privilege of serving as Principal of Mathews Elementary.

I have lived in the Plano ISD community for more than twenty years. My husband Aaron and I chose this district because of its reputation for excellence. We raised our three daughters—Grace, Elissa, and Kaitlin—here, and each of them thrived academically and personally. Their success reinforced what I already believed: Plano ISD provides exceptional educational opportunities. My experiences as both an educator and a parent deeply shape the leader I am today. Students will always be my top priority, and I hope they arrive at school each day excited to learn. 

I look forward to serving the Daffron community and building strong connections with staff, students, and families. Communication plays a vital role in our work, and my door is always open.
