Mrs. Small

I am a Kindergarten teacher here at Daffron Elementary. I moved here to Dallas a few years back with my husband. ​I have been teaching for 11 years and began my journey as a Pre-K teacher in 2015. ​I am a professional trained dancer in ballet, liturgical, hip hop, jazz/modern and actress.​ I am also a social media specialist/advocate in overall health and mainly mental health for Abundant Living Health & Wellness Resulting Services. Kindergarten is truly my heart, and I am deeply passionate about the field of education. I believe kindergarten serves as the foundation for each child’s educational journey, providing them with the skills, confidence, and love of learning they need to grow and succeed. I am more than just a teacher to my little friends; I am also a caregiver, mentor, and trusted support system. I strive to ensure that each child feels safe, valued, and cared for while in my classroom, while supporting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It is a privilege to help my students grow, learn, and develop into confident learners who are excited about their educational journey.
