Hello, My name is July Bekker and I am the campus bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). I have worked as an SLP since 2017 in the school setting and at Daffron since 2023.
I love to work with my students no matter what level they are in their communication. I have work experience in the home health setting and some in nursing home. As a parent with special needs, navigating and advocating for my students and parents have been part of my journey as an SLP.
I am a parent of five children ranging from young adults to teens. I love learning different languages, travel, yoga, meditation, reading, dancing, cooking and gardening but what I love to do the most is to spend time with my family to connect and create mutual memories. I work two jobs but during our holidays/breaks, we travel together to visit our family in NY. I love to drive long distances around the US. I volunteer in different organizations and currently lead a support group for special needs mom "Labeled and Loved".
